Precisely, Marino Ballena National Park is located in Uvita with a land area of 44.5 hectares and a marine area of 2175 ha.
From different spots there, including Brav, you can see the whale’s tail—a magnificent natural formation carved by two converging currents, depositing sediments and sand on the rocks, forming the shape of a wale’s tail, which is visible most of the day when it is not covered by the sea.
It also hosts the biggest coral reef on the Pacific Coast of Central America.
People usually go on boat excursions, passing in front of beautiful beaches. However, the sightings of dolphins and whales have become the main tourist attraction at Bahia Ballena over the years.
